Rockies Roll to 8-2 Win Over Osprey
The Grand Junction Rockies beat the Missoula Osprey, 8-2, at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. Grand Junction third baseman Craig Tucker earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. The winner was Grand Junction reliever Ruben Garcia, now 4-7. The loser was Juan Cardenas. The first-place Rockies, at 87-53, now lead their division by 3½ games.

Grand Junction used the clutch hitting of Heitor Bulho to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rockies ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

Missoula manager Cesar Martin said his team was "out of sync."
