					| Blue Jays Drop Yankees, 5-0 |
					| Toronto starter Stacy Hootentootin pitched well against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-0. Hootentootin got the win, improving to 12-6. He allowed 2 hits and walked 0 over 5.1 innings. Hootentootin allowed no runs. The triumph puts Toronto at 52-51 for the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ruben Velasco? The Toronto designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 1-0. For the game, Velasco had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Stacy just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Toronto manager Nersha Bainco.
