The Mets grabbed a win, 7-5, at Miller Park, overcoming a fine effort from Milwaukee pitcher Cody Autry. Autry went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Justin Howard notched his 4th save in 7 chances. With the win, New York raised its record to 65-37.

New York needed the clutch hitting of Javy Rosa to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Mets on top, 7-5. For the game, Rosa had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
