					| Gentzel 5-for-5 for St. Louis |
					| It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Nick Gentzel today. Gentzel went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Milwaukee pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Miller Park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the St. Louis Cardinals had a 11-3 victory over the Brewers.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Nick Gentzel singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

During the current season Gentzel is batting at a .325 clip with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 21 games and scored 10 times.
