		| Edelman Belts 5 Hits |
		| It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Zakhar Edelman today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Lindquist Field and paced the Rockies to a 33-7 win over the Ogden Raptors.
After his dynamite batting performance, the Grand Junction right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Zakhar Edelman hit a two-run home run off Ian Wilson in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Luis Hinostroza in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Edelman is currently hitting at a .394 pace with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs.
