5 times is the charm -- at least for Michael Krott.

The Grand Junction Rockies right fielder tore up the Ogden Raptors to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Lindquist Field today. The offensive onslaught from Krott powered the Rockies to a 36-9 win.

"Krott was a tough out today," Ogden manager Chae-ku Jou said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Michael Krott singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ramon Luna in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Matt Alderson in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Bob Magana in the 6th and walked in the 9th.

So far this year Krott is batting .390 with 9 home runs.
