					| Chicago Cubs starter Anass Rhammar pitched a strong game against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park, leading the Cubs to victory, 4-1. George Poirier earned his 20th save in 20 chances. Chicago is now 60-25, 7 games up in the National League Central Division. 
 Chicago relied on the bat of Efrain Vargas to get the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run  home run in the top of the first inning to put the Cubs ahead, 2-0. For the game, Vargas had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
 
 "Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Vargas, cracking a smile.
