					| Phillies Drop 7-4 Decision |
					| The Chicago Cubs topped the Philadelphia Phillies, 7-4, with left fielder Josh Kalman playing a big role. Kalman went 2 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cubs in the win. Tony Ramirez, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on no hits. George Poirier notched his 19th save in 19 chances.
Kalman had a timely hit for Chicago in the bottom of the seventh. With Philadelphia trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-1 fastball into a bases-clearing triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season, making it 6-4, Chicago.

"It was a solid team effort," said Kalman after the game.

Chicago has 4 straight wins, Philadelphia 4 straight losses.
