					| The Pittsburgh Pirates topped the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-3, in National League action at PNC Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pittsburgh pitcher Jeremy Kennie. With the victory, the Pirates upped their record to 42-42. 
 Theodore Conboy, who is tied for 7th in the NL with a .615 slugging percentage, chipped in for  Pittsburgh with a 3-run  home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
 
 Conboy told a Pittsburgh Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
