Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros.

The Cleveland Indians faced a tough opponent in Houston pitcher Kevin Ovens-Toots, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Minute Maid Park by a final score of 4-3. Ovens-Toots went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Chris McCown got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings.

Cleveland used the clutch hitting of Merrick Geter to snag the win. The third baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Indians ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Geter.

The win puts Cleveland at 28-53.
