					| Giants Trip Braves, 9-6 |
					| The San Francisco Giants beat the Atlanta Braves, 9-6, at Turner Field. The Giants got a fine performance from left fielder Henri Cederberg, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times. Ricky Rodriguez notched his 5th save in 6 chances. With the victory, the Giants upped their record to 44-35.
San Francisco used a well-timed hit by Nate Hodson to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Giants ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Cederberg said.
