					| The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Rogers Centre, knocking off the Washington Nationals, 3-1. Starting pitcher Stacy Hootentootin played a key role in the triumph. Hootentootin picked up the win for Toronto, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 9-4. The last-place Blue Jays have won 4 straight games. 
 Kirk Arp took Tim Wybenga deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run  home run put the Blue Jays on top, 2-0. In all, Arp had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
