					| Red Sox Come Up Short at Texas, 2-1 |
					| The Texas Rangers beat the Boston Red Sox, 2-1, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Starting pitcher Wayne Perry was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Brad Kramer notched his 17th save in 19 chances. The Rangers have an impressive 50-29 record.
Texas took a 2-1 lead on Edwin Madrid's 3rd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Madrid hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Boston pitcher Justin Whitesack shaking his head.

Madrid said his team "played with determination."
