					| Tigers Need Extra Innings to Top White Sox, 5-4 |
					| The Detroit Tigers turned back the Chicago White Sox, 5-4, at U.S. Cellular Field. Morgan Black, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Riso Profanter earned the save for Detroit, his 17th. With the win, the Tigers have a record of 56-21.
Black had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 changeup from Zach Ault, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Tigers a 5-4 lead. It was the 16th double of the year for Black.

"I like our moxie," said Tigers manager Colin Lancey.
