					| The California Angels withstood an impressive performance by Cleveland first baseman Arvin Dungca to defeat the Indians, 10-8, at Progressive Field. Dungca went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles,  and a walk. He scored 3 runs.   The Angels raised their record to 27-47. 
 California relied on the bat of Preston Deakyne to get the win. The first baseman ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Angels ahead, 9-5. For the game, Deakyne had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
 
 "We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Deakyne said.
