					| Roger Salazar made an impact in the 8-1 Miami win over St. Louis. Salazar  was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles,  and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Dan Tapley earned the win for Miami. He lasted 6 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 4-7.  Miami, with the win, climbs to 24-47. 
 With Miami leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Salazar hit a fastball from Nick Martin for a 3-run  home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Marlins ahead, 4-0.
 
 "The name of the game is scoring runs," Salazar said. "We did a good job of that today."
