					| Marlins Edge Diamondbacks, 6-5 |
					| The home crowd had a good time watching the Arizona Diamondbacks and Miami Marlins get after it.
The Miami Marlins defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-5. Doing his part was right fielder Shiro Suehiro, who was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Travis Small converted his 12th save in 14 tries.

Jeff Garofalo was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Miami. The 2030 Rookie of the Year Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mario Valdivia. It was his 29th RBI of the season.

"We found a way to get it done," Garofalo said.

The Marlins raised their record to 23-46.
