					| Dominant Performance by Kooy in Seattle Win |
					| The Seattle Mariners went home winners at Safeco Field, thanks in large part to starter Bas Kooy. Kooy stifled the Cleveland Indians, enabling Seattle to grab the 6-1 win. Elias Gonzalez, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities. Seattle now has a record of 46-20 with the win.
Kooy was effective for Seattle, seldom allowing the Indians to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 105 pitches over 7.1 innings. He limited Cleveland to just 1 run on 3 hits.

"We're developing a swagger," said Kooy.
