					| The Philadelphia Phillies picked up a win at Dodger Stadium, knocking off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-3. On the mound for Philadelphia was left-hander Ayaz bin Jalal, who played a pivotal role in the win. bin Jalal picked up the win for Philadelphia, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 6-4. Rico Romero was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 9 save opportunities. 
 Philadelphia used the bat of Alberto Figueroa to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run  home run in the top of the third inning to put the Phillies ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
 
 "We cashed in when we had the chance," said Philadelphia manager Dave Galindo.
 
 The Phillies go to 28-35, putting them third in the National League East Division.
