					| Toronto Beats Washington, 5-3 |
					| The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Nationals Park, taking down the Washington Nationals, 5-3. Starting pitcher Larry Legros was a big reason why. Legros, now 6-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The Blue Jays now have a record of 26-34 with the win over Washington.
Toronto used the bat of Shigem Kubo to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

Legros called the triumph "a good team win."
