					| Blue Jays Edge Past Astros, 4-3 |
					| The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, knocking off the Houston Astros, 4-3. On the mound for Toronto was right-hander Timo Lantinga, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 8 innings, Lantinga surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Earning his 9th save for Toronto was J.J. Thompson.
It could have been a different outcome for Toronto, had it not been for Jerry Jauregui, the slick-fielding third baseman . Jauregui contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Toronto up, 4-2.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Lantinga.

The Blue Jays now have a record of 24-33.
