		| Lagat Socks It to Indians, Cracks 5 Hits |
		| Greeneville Astros third baseman Workneh Lagat had a day to remember at Cleveland Indians Complex today, ripping apart the Cleveland (APP) Indians and sparking the Astros to a 23-4 victory.
Lagat wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5.

"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Lagat told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."

Workneh Lagat doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jordan Jimenez in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Lagat is currently hitting at a .308 pace with 5 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 30 times.
