					| Giants Win at Seattle, 7-5 |
					| The Seattle Mariners got a sterling performance from pitcher William de Jesus, but the San Francisco Giants still prevailed, 7-5. de Jesus threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Borisz Barciniak was credited with the save for San Francisco, his 9th of the season. With the win, San Francisco raised its record to 26-25.
San Francisco used the clutch hitting of Jack Henningar to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Giants ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said San Francisco manager Jobo Foster.
