					| The Cleveland Indians topped the California Angels by a score of 14-1. Leading the way was center fielder Paul Word. Word went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 8 for the Indians. Today's win puts Cleveland at 21-30, while California falls to 16-36. 
 With Cleveland leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Word hit a 2-run  single off California hurler Juan Gomez. It was the 25th hit of the season for Word and put his team ahead, 3-0.
 
 "We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Dakota  Wise.
