					| New York starter Jeff Jank had a strong outing against the San Francisco Giants at Citi Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. With the victory, the Mets upped their record to 24-19. 
 New York won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Johnny Munoz on the mound for San Francisco, designated hitter Timo Gomez hit a dramatic solo  home run, bringing Mets fans to their feet.
 
 "Nice to tuck this win away," said Jank.
