					| Montreal Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss |  
					| The Boston Red Sox topped the Montreal Expos, 2-0, in American League action at Fenway Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Justin Whitesack. Boston reliever Mike Nimmo picked up the win, raising his record to 3-1. Jonathan Jackson was tagged with the loss. The win for the Red Sox lifted their record to 22-19. 
 Manny Vergara took Jonathan Jackson deep in the bottom of the seventh. His solo  home run put the Red Sox on top, 1-0. In all, Vergara had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
 
 "I like to lead by example," said Whitesack. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
