		| Nationals Beat Flying Squirrels, 7-4 |
		| Potomac beat Richmond in a rain-soaked ballgame.
The Potomac Nationals picked up a win at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, knocking off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7-4. Starting pitcher Brian Ramirez was a big reason why. Ramirez went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 9. His record improves to 3-4. Getting the save was Todd Howdyshell, his 11th.

With no one out in the bottom of the first, Luis Torres hit a go-ahead 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and with it the Nationals took a 2-0 lead.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Torres told the Potomac Gazette.

The Nationals now own a record of 47-45.
