					| Chicago Makes It 9 Straight with 8-5 Win |
					| St. Louis got a terrific game from right fielder John Blair. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Chicago, 8-5. Blair went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Ricky Salas, the winner, goes to 5-0. He allowed 2 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts over 7.1 innings. The winning continues for Chicago, with the latest making it 9 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Chicago, had it not been for Dan Lash, the 2043 Rookie of the Year Award winner . Lash contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Chicago up, 2-1.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Lash told the Chicago Chronicle.
