The Minnesota Twins knocked off the Kansas City Royals, 6-2, at Target Field. Vinny Luna was a big reason Minnesota won. The left fielder was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Travis Feind picked up the save for Minnesota, his 1st of the year. The Twins go to 12-22 with the win.

Jesus Chavez drove in one run for Minnesota. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Oscar Banda. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"We did a lot of things right," said Luna.
