					| Reds Fall Short, 6-5, at Chicago |
					| The Chicago Cubs topped the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Efrain Vargas. Vargas was 2 for 4 with a home run for the Cubs on the day. Chicago reliever Tony Ramirez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Justin Sullins absorbed the loss. The Cubs, now 22-10, have been playing some good baseball.
Chicago took a 6-5 lead on Jamie Ogilvie's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Cincinnati pitcher Justin Sullins in the bottom of the seventh.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Chicago manager Mergatroid Skittle.
