					| Brewers Win, 9-4, at St. Louis |
					| St. Louis shortstop Bobby Scholl pounded Milwaukee Brewers pitchers at Busch Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Cardinals from falling, 9-4. Scholl was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Antonio Diaz got the win, improving to 3-4. He worked 9 innings, giving up 4 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Brewers sport a record of 12-21.
It could have been a different outcome for Milwaukee, had it not been for Kisho Ito, the speedster . Ito contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Milwaukee up, 7-4.

"We'll savor this win," Ito told the Milwaukee Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
