					| Giants Top Rockies, 4-3 |
					| The San Francisco Giants did just enough to secure a victory over the Colorado Rockies, 4-3, at AT&T Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Curt Howland. The winner was San Francisco reliever Nate Heideman, now 1-0. The loser was Jaden Mackey. Colorado drops to 6-23.
In the bottom of the 14th, Ryan Doss had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring single to center off Colorado pitcher Mike Mik.

Howland attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
